16 Jan 40 Expensive Looking H&M Items You Need to See Now
H&M may not be the first place you think of when considering where to pick up expensive-looking pieces on the high street, but between their premium selection and the amazing wardrobe staples that are flooding their New In section right now, you might have a rethink. From relatively affordable premium options like cashmere jumpers and leather separates to elevated silhouettes and details in their core range, H&M is capturing our attention right now for their expensive-looking options. Their tailoring, outerwear (this short double-breasted wool coat is on my wish list), and knit dress options are particularly good. There are so many goodies it’s hard to narrow down our favourites, but after rigorous trawling, these are the 40 most expensive-looking H&M pieces you can buy right now.
This premium selection cashmere blend jumper has such a good shape. The dropped shoulders and extra long wide sleeves make it look so expensive. If you prefer a longer-length knit, then take a look at this oversized turtleneck jumper.
If you’re still hunting for the perfect tailored trouser for your forever wardrobe, these are certainly worth a try. The matching blazer also has a great oversized fit with drop shoulders and shoulder pads, perfect for 2023.
We can’t get enough of this beautiful bright blue shade and this cashmere hat will add a pop of dopamine inducing brights to all your outfits this January.
This winning coat also comes in light beige and either way it’s so good. Be snappy if you want to get in on this expensive-looking dream coat.
A neutral drawstring hoodie with the wide-leg joggers makes for a cosy but luxe-looking lounge set.
We never need much of an excuse to add an updated black dress to our rotation but the soft gathering at the waist on this black midi makes it so wearable. It looks great with black knee-high boots.
How good is this grey pinstripe blazer? Pinstripe is definitely having a moment. The wide-leg tailored trousers are also rather fabulous.
We have said it before and we will say it again, ballet flats are bang on trend for SS23 and these premium leather ones in wear-with-everything black will be your go-to spring footwear. They also come in beige. Here is a great way to wear them, with these merino wool leggings, a boxy double-breasted blazer and turtleneck. So chic. Not to mention, warm.
This black and white bouclé mini skirt and jacket combo are giving major Parisian vibes and I like it. The jacket is currently out of stock, but keep yourself notified for restocks. The block heel Mary Janes with socks are also so adorable and perfectly on point for SS23.
A pointed slingback with a wearable (depending on your tolerance) heel, will not steer you wrong this season.
You need to see this cashmere blend rib knit dress up close. There is also a jumper version available and the shape is amazing. They both come in black, as well as this expensive-looking light beige.
This Totême-Esque blazer is so good. It also comes in cream and there are matching silk-blend tailored trousers available.
Another great bouclé jacket from H&M, which also comes in black. It looks fabulous with cargo jeans or the matching buttoned mini skirt.
This sturdy indigo denim shirt dress with lightly puffed sleeves and a hidden button placket is really elevated by the details. It will look great now layered with boots, tights, and a roll neck and later with socks and loafers.
This timeless belted coat with Manteco wool also comes in black and grey, but I love the olive green.
H&M has really knocked it out of the park with this maxi rib knit dress with long wide sleeves. It looks so designer.
There is some great new denim flying in right now at H&M, including this shacket and classic straight jeans. Also, see this amazing denim shacket with more of a workwear feel and cargo-inspired pockets.
Wedge heels are still making a case for themselves this season and these black ankle boots will be a staple in your wardrobe.
A tailored camel coat is such a classic and this double-breasted coat looks ready to transition you toward spring. It also comes in black.
A Broderie Anglaise blouse is a summer essential and the wavy cropped hem on this one adds a point of difference along with the lightly puffed sleeves. Also more than a little bit into this white frill-trimmed blouse…
A satin slip skirt is a staple for any season and this on-point maxi length one will look as great now with a knit as it will with a cotton tank and sandals come summer.
This button-front top has a bit of an 80s party vibe with the zip-hem leggings. It would also look great with baggy jeans and heels for a different take.
Trench time is almost upon us and this one stands out from the rest with its longer length, wide sleeves, and relaxed fit.
This wide neck long sleeve rib knit mini dress can be worn on or off the shoulder. It also comes in a nice beige colour and the wide sleeves really elevate it.
For more double denim inspiration, this classic denim shirt, straight jeans, and gold accessories is a nice take.
Cashmere in a classic shape and colour is always a good investment.
H&M has a lot of great knitted maxi dresses right now and we are so in. This one looks great with the knee-high boots now, and will look equally as fabulous in spring with socks and clogs or loafers.
Speaking of loafers, how good are these? The glossy dark brown looks so premium.
Everything off-the-shoulder is a good idea right now and this grey marl knit would be so easy to wear with jeans and loafers or dressed up for evening.
We have all seen these tailored cargo trousers in the beige that sold out, and now you can snap them up in black.
This pair of twill cotton cargo pants with a tank and the below chunky sandals will be your minimalist go-to summer look.
These chunky leather sandals are ready for summer.
Wear this 60s vibe mini dress with the above chunky sandals for a chic summer in the city look. Layer with knee-high boots and a shirt or roll neck until then.
The shape of this sweetheart neckline rib knit with extra long flared sleeves is so elevated. It comes in 4 colours including an amazing new pink shade. This cream with contrast black trim looks great with black trousers, but it’s selling fast so be snappy.
Yes to more pinstripes. Just yes. This blazer has a great oversized fit. Here is the link to the pinstripe trousers which are selling fast.
These wide tailored trousers come in beige and black. H&M are always a good bet for affordable tailored trousers.
A little more 80s influence with this chic flared peplum hem top. This would be such a great match with jeans or tailored trousers for an easy evening look.
This mohair super soft blend jumper sold out in dark blue and beige, but now comes in this expensive-looking baby blue.
H&M is seriously upping their maxi skirt game, see this minimalist black maxi slip skirt for further evidence. I have a soft post for these platform mules too.
Be ready to party in 2023 with this gorgeous draped purple mini dress. There is also a draped turtleneck version of this dress and it comes in black too.
This premium leather mini lives up to its name with its quality-looking finish and elevated details. Pair with knee-high boots or loafers and an oversized knit and switch in a cotton shirt or tank when spring hits. The premium wool-blend polo neck jumper is also in the sale, just FYI. If this leather skirt is out of your price range then check out this on-trend biker mini that also has great details.
Baggy jeans are going nowhere and these have such a good fit. The 90s straight high jeans are also well worth a look.
For your next evening look, beat the January blues with this beautiful pleated pink top.
